Cooperation Meeting of Five Universities with Telkom University

Bandung, Telkom University – Several universities in Indonesia on Tuesday (9/5) visited Telkom University. These universities are the Islamic University of Indonesia (UII), STT PLN, Logistics Management College (STIMLOG), University of Pertamina (UP), Universitas Internasional Semen Indonesia (UISI). THis visits to Telkom University aims to establish cooperation and study the integrated service system that has been implemented by Telkom University recently.

Vice Rector 3 Telkom University, AMA. Suyanto, DBA in his speech revealed that telkom university is always open in the form of building cooperation. “This meeting I think could be the beginning of the establishment of universities in Indonesia, let us synergize to improve the nation through Human Resources (HR).”

Telkom University’s Academic Director Christanto Triwibisono conveyed to guests that Information Technology should be applied to all lines in universities, especially in the curriculum used. “According to our vision and mission (Telkom University), we are here always apply information technology to the existing curriculum. I think it can be applied in eac college. ”

The meeting was held at Manterawu Building, Lt. 2, was attended by Telkom University’s Career Development Center (CDC) describing the data of Telkom University alumni distribution at home and abroad and bootcamp program which need to be held one year before the students graduated to know the expertise they have with the appropriate industry.

Vice Rector 3, University of Pertamina, Budi Soetjipto, Ph.D revealed that this visit is also the first step of international cooperation and synergy with Telkom University. Said with Budi, the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences UII Yogya, Allwar, also wants an integrated service at Telkom University can also be applied at UII.

“We hope that the integrated service that Telkom University has implemented (iGracias) can be implemented in UIP Yogya, whether it’s for student service or inter staff,” Allwar said.
